Well, I wasn’t there either, but I was at the rally on the West steps of the Colorado Capitol. Decent turnout there. Lots of folks taking pictures, and, that I saw, not 1 damn news van from any of the Denver major media.
Kidding aside, I wonder how much longer racism will actually mean, you know, racism instead of merely meaning that you’re a white guy who disagrees with a black guy. For example, the folks who are complaining that we’re racists for opposing the president’s health care push presumably are saying that if, oh, idunno, a Clinton were to suggest the same kinds of health care reforms, we’d be all for it. Because of the racism.
Talk about offensive.
And, Jed, that is one of the finest pop rock songs of all time. Still sounds amazing today. Almost as good was “When the Tigers Broke Free,” which, in spite of being politically moronic, is just a gorgeous piece of work.
Fortunately for me, I can get that at the library. I wasn’t able to find a YouTube clip of it that sounded like it was doing it justice.
And if objecting to socialist policies makes me a racist, I’ll wear the label gladly. Of course, I also objected to HillaryCare, so i guess I’m a sexist as well.
Really, I’m just a curmudgeonly, opinionated bastard.

Steve wasn’t there. Neener, neener! But he’s richer and handsomer than me, the bastard, so I guess that’s all right.

Ooops. Forgot the obligatory Pink Floyd reference.
Jed, that’s because they don’t cover racists. You monster. Etc.
