One list deserves another. But I don’t have any fancy Seeqpod thing. So here’s just what Amarok delivered for a random playlist from my collection:

Kiss, King Of The Night Time World
Jon and Vangelis, The Mayflower
The Ozric Tentacles, Erpland
B.B. King, Going Down Slow
Devo, Duty Now for the Future
Kate Bush, A Coral Room
B.B. King, Early Every Morning
Giacomo Pucini, La Boheme (Not a well-labelled track, not the entire opera)
Jerry Lee Lewis, Big Blon’ Baby
Luther Wright and the Wrongs, Hey You
George Frideric Handel, Wind Sonatas (Track 18—another poorly labelled one)
Ray Charles, Cyring Time
Stealin’ Horses, Walk Away
REM, Oddfellows Local
Lonnie Mack, You Ain’t Got Me
The Smithereens, White Castle Blues
The Allman Brothers, Ain’t Wastin’ Time No More
Gordon Lightfoot, Crossroads
KD Lang, Pullin’ Back the Reins
Laurie Anderson, Babydoll
Tanita Tikaram, I Might Be Crying

So, years ago, I started writing this song, using all these alternate fingerings for some really pretty open chords, and absolutely loved what I had created.

Then one night last year I was playing it when School of Fish’s “Fell” came on iTunes, and I realized it was their song too.

Whoops.

(But if I fingerpick it you can’t really tell, so I am keeping it… shhhh)

(And do you have the whole album?)

Indeed I do. I don’t have it all ripped, yet, but be looking for an email soonish.

Sadly, I can’t find the CD--no idea where it is. Can’t find either of their CDs in fact and I’m kind of cranky about it.
