The Loop: When Did I Last Laugh So Little?
Does anyone else find it sort of sad that Fox--last seen canceling Drive--shows no sign of killing off The Loop, easily one of the worst shows on network TV? Filled completely with unlikable characters, bad dialog, idiotic writing, and predictable plots, The Loop is almost unwatchable. I don’t remember the last time a sitcom made me laugh so little.
Seriously, this might be the dumbest show on TV. And that includes the stuff starring Paris Hilton.
Fox: cancel The Loop and rid my cable box of its oh-so-contrived quirkiness. Bring back Drive--it may not be another Firefly, but it’s sure as hell better than this crap.

I’m of the opinion that anything not cartoon should not be on Fox on Sunday nights.
If that means Simpsons,Family Guy, American Dad,...rinse and repeat...so be it.
I wanted to like Drive but I found its writing to be poor and gave up even before they canceled it.
Honestly, I didn’t think that the writing for Drive was particularly good, either. I just kept wanting to know what came next.
I could go with Darren’s suggestion of an all-animation Fox Sunday nights, though.
I had only just heard about Drive and started scanning listings for it when it was cancelled. I don’t know anything about this Loop, but I can say Fox pulled Drive before the whole word-of-mouth thing could work its magic, which seems a little silly.
I watched “Drive” for the writing, drama, and Mircea Monroe’s bosoms (pronounced “bazooms!"), although not necessarily in that order and to varying degrees.
“The Loop” just made me shrug, what few minutes of it I caught.
I long for the day, though, that we have another show as bad as “Full House” or “Family Matters.”
Shawn, I couldn’t agree more. If you’re going to launch a show like that, be prepared to stick with it for a while to see if it catches on. Otherwise, why bother? Just a waste of time and money.
Andy, you’ve reminded me of how bad TV can truly be. I had forgotten. I’m still trying to decide if I should thank you for that reminder, though.
My wife likes “The Loop.” I don’t. If she insists on having it on again next Sunday night, I’m demanding separate vacations.
Divorce. I really think it’s the only option at this point.
