The Big Question of the Day

I think the question that we all need to be asking ourselves today is this:

Who is getting David press credentials so that he can cover the Democratic National Convention?

Because I’m pretty sure that’s important to all of us.

Read the story.

What? No commentary on the iPhone?

I’m still trying to decide what I want to say. Mostly I just keep going: *drool* *lustful thoughts* *reach for credit card*

BNN will probably be sponsoring some coverage. Drop me a note.

I’ll take part of that action, Robert. I’d be able to slide into various DLC meetings on ideological grounds, after all, and with the relative dearth of non-progressive Democratic bloggers, someone will be bound to appreciate a change of pace in the commentariat.

And the best thing about it being in town is the utter and complete lack of major travel costs. After all, most people in the metro area can round-trip to downtown for the obscenely low cost of $3.00, at least until RTD hikes the fares again. (Which should be sometime in late 2007, if I’m reading the cards right.)

Robert, let’s talk about it at the Big Shindig.

David, I will happily flash whoever I need to flash to get you in.  You know, I have that whole hot cocktail waitress thing going for me.

Speaking of which, I again throw my bar (which still has a smoking section, Jeff) into the running for the 2007 Blogger Bash contention.

You know, the Libertarian Party Convention is going to be here as well…

Great, 100 unmarried men with huge belt buckles and sideburns, looking for prostitutes.

Oh wait, that’s the RMBB. Never mind.

David, sorry to do this here but I sent an email to your resurrectionsong.com email address a couple of days ago and haven’t gotten a reply. I lost my password to your site and can’t login until I find out what email address I used when I registered. For some reason, none of those I’ve tried have worked.

The simplest thing might be to send a message to whatever address is in my profile, with a CC to the address I used in this comment (in case I closed down that other address at some point). I should be able to handle it myself from there.

So we’ll meet face to face one day soon after all!

Hey, that’s great news. I was hoping that you would be covering the event, but I wasn’t sure.

Let me know if you need any help or advice in making your plans for your stay out here. I know some good vegetarian places here in town--it would be great it we could find time to have dinner.
