Thanks, Pal
Thanks to Pandora (look a few entries back to see what I’m talking about), I have been on a music buying spree. I’m going to need a third job just to catch up with my music-buying needs. Since Saturday I’ve purchased, either at a local store or through the iTunes Music Store Howie Day’s EP The Madrigals (mostly wonderful), The Go’s The Go (mostly alright), The Go’s Watcha Doin’ (not sure yet), Madrugada’s Industrial Silence (oh, hell yes), and I’m eying Solomon Burke’s Don’t Give Up On Me.
Typically, I try to keep my CD buying down to one or two a month.
Thanks, Jerry. Through my new music infused giddiness, I am cursing you.

I’m sure that you are cursing me in the best possible way…
Both in the best possible way and with my best possible curse words.
I’m good that way.
I’ve been avoiding playing with Pandora just for that very reason. I already spend way too much money at Amazon and the ITMS. And I work within 2 miles of both a Tower and a Borders. Something that allows me to easily find and buy even more music is not a recipie for marital bliss.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got a bunch of Pere Ubu albums to go buy. Which reminds me, I really don’t have all that much Husker Du. And iTunes only has one song from The Dead Boys Young, Loud and Snotty…
I’ve been playing around with it too and have found a couple of bands (the only one I remember right now is “None Other,” and that was because I seeded my station with a band I found by randomly checking CDs out from the library called “Dogs Die in Hot Cars."). I need to spend some more time with it tonight and scrounge up some new music to get my hands on…
In case you’re bored, you can hear one of DDIHC’s songs here.
Ah well, I like it.
Ooooo, I have been staying away until after the first week of January. We have far too many birthdays and Christmas to deal with before I can start going there…
I. Can’t. Click.
I want to. Soooo very badly. But I know if I do, I’ll be begging DH for forgiveness—and giving IOUs for Christmas.
No. I’m with Rae. I’m waiting until January. Maybe after February.

Must. Have. Willpower!
Willpower, shmillpower. Just let them take my money and leave me a hollow, poor, shell of a man with a really kick ass music collection.
ROFL!!
What she (up there) said.
