So, Yeah, About Those Rockies…

image

Sweeeeep!

Condolences to Diamondbacks fans and congratulations to the Rockies who are, for the first time in franchise history, heading to the World Series.

For the record? They’ve won 21 of their last 22 games and this one ended up being quite dramatic.

Do I really need to say how I feel, or can you figure it out?

Only two good things come from Pheonix...I-75 and an empty bus. What a run to get to the series!

Bubba, it has been quite a run.

Jerry, I do know how you feel. I would like to add one thing, though: why the heck couldn’t they have made this run while you had season tickets?

One thing about being a small-market fan:  You don’t get many chances to cheer in the post-season, but it sure feels good when you do get a chance.

ROCKTOBER!

Er, sorry. I just got a little excited there…

I do hope these games are at a more decent hour.  At the beginning of the game I was pretty freakin content to sit in the chair with my son on my lap asking questions about baseball, knowing that he had to go to bed in minutes.
This is not something a little boy should miss.

That’s true--I’m pretty sure that I should have been in bed before the end of last night’s game. I have no idea what time they’ll be starting them, though.
