What’s August 4?

(For keeping July and September apart!!!)

on May 10 2007 @ 02:22 PM

Heheheh. Smart guy.

on May 10 2007 @ 02:32 PM

Ummm… 5 days after my second blogiversary?

3 days before my mom’s birthday?

Dammit. I hate these guessing games, and the date isn’t even here yet!

TELL ME WHAT I FORGOT!

[insert head-in-monitor]

No one has forgotten anything yet. It’s just a proposal. Seeing what the Regular Crew thinks about that date.

on May 10 2007 @ 03:18 PM

That weekend is no good for me. My grandmother’s ninety-something birthday, and we’re all trekking out to Mississippi. (Yes. In August.)

on May 10 2007 @ 03:38 PM

Foolish man. Not about the birthday, but about Miss. in August. Crazy talk.

August 11?

on May 10 2007 @ 03:43 PM

Too far away.

Well, sometime before I move to Ft. Collins would be better for me.

on May 10 2007 @ 08:21 PM

But we need to give people time to schedule--especially if they are coming from out of town. The summer gig should be the biggest of the year.

The tough part for me is that I definitely don’t have a free weekend until sometime in June, and then, when July hits, it’s even worse.

on May 10 2007 @ 08:30 PM

August 4th and 11th, of course. Why should we limit ourselves?

on May 10 2007 @ 09:00 PM

Finally! The voice of reason steps.

on May 10 2007 @ 09:10 PM

The voice of reason steps.

Just don’t ask what it stepped in.

The dog has an appointment with the vet tomorrow.

on May 10 2007 @ 10:29 PM

Sorry, I think I’ll be busy with WWRunt #3 around that time.... sometime before late July would be ideal.

on May 10 2007 @ 10:52 PM

July: I’ll be out of town (business trip) from the 10th to the 16th (Tues. - Mon), I have plans on the 6th (Friday) and, I believe, the 21st. (Sat)

on May 10 2007 @ 11:09 PM

The 11th of August should be fine with me. The 30th of July would be OK as well. Actually, all of July is fine for me.

(The advantage of being the first responder is that it’s all about me, baby.)

on May 11 2007 @ 10:29 AM

Wanna bet, Bob?

God knows I can use some more beer money.

on May 11 2007 @ 08:22 PM

Well, as much as I’d love to schedule the delivery of my child around others’ social plans, I’m afraid that just isn’t going to happen. smile

on May 11 2007 @ 09:01 PM

So, anyway, how about July 7?

on May 11 2007 @ 09:05 PM

The sooner the better.

on May 12 2007 @ 09:36 AM

If it’s gonna be August, later works better for me than sooner - I expect to be out of state the first week. June or July would work fine, though.

on May 12 2007 @ 05:11 PM

The only time that I can manage it in the first half of July is going to be the 7th. Shall we plan on that? If so, we should start spreading the word the next week so that any out of towners can make their plans.

on May 12 2007 @ 08:51 PM

I do not care when we go, but only that we go.

July. August. Tomorrow.

Odds are that I will show.

on May 13 2007 @ 07:14 PM

July 7 is good with me. I think I already said that, but I like to hear myself talk.

Sure, I’ll make another bet with you, OC. I’ll bet you a beer that I show up.

on May 14 2007 @ 01:06 PM

Fine. Double or nothing that I show up late.
