Out of Curiosity…

...was anyone really asking for a return of Rambo?

In a statement, Stallone said: “I’ve signed the deal and I have the old headband, machine gun and bow and arrow ready to go. I am looking forward to showing movie fans the real action hero again.”

Read the story.

Oh good lord. Take this with a grain of salt, though. I heard Stallone on the Dan Patrick Show a while back trying to drum up interest in a new Rocky script he’d written. Luckily nothing ever came of that.

Why is he fighting white supremacists, anyway? It would make more sense for Rambo to repudiate his pro-Taliban past and fight some Islamist terrorists.

Damn. Didn’t he used to have a career?

Anyway, I was thinking the same thing about the white supremacist story; when did Rambo go politically correct? For that matter, I’m pretty sure that everyone action star from Steven Seagal to Arnold has done pretty much the same story.

Hopefully you’re right, though. It would be for the best if there were never another Rambo flick.

You’re not excited about “Rambo: First Gallstone” ? What’s wrong with you people?

Don’t you know that only Caucasians can be villains now?  LOL
