From context, it’s very difficult to tell whether this is intended to mean, “I think at least one of us was drunk” or* “I think only one of us was drunk”. I agree with one of those statements—and only one of those statements.

In this case, evil had a prior commitment. Now, the week before was much more interesting: evil was on vacation in Omaha. Which, come to think of it, is probably not the sort of thing you hear everyday.
