Oh, Good Lord…
I think we all know who isn’t a rising new media star...
Which doesn’t take away from my native charm or brilliance even one little bit...

But you described the nature of blogging so pithily.
Heheh.
I think I needed more to drink…
I almost put up a title card that said “David J. nails it.”
One of these days we’ll make it down for one of those bashes.
Might be in 2018, but we’ll be there.
That’s my brilliance coming out again. Brilliance, I tell you.
Craig, it would be good to see you again--and you would have a blast. If you end up coming down for any of the Broncos games this year let me know; maybe we can throw together a mini bash in your honor.
Part of the brilliance showcased in that other post you linked (no,not the other ones), is that you have readers who offer brilliant comments.
Brilliant!
I think one of us was drunk.
Let’s just say it could have been, ummm, a lot more controversial, though.
I’m pretty sure that I should stay away from microphones in the future.
"I think one of us was drunk.”
From context, it’s very difficult to tell whether this is intended to mean, “I think at least one of us was drunk” or* “I think only one of us was drunk”. I agree with one of those statements—and only one of those statements.
* That would be a disjunctive ‘or’.
I’m just still wondering where certain people were that evening.
Damned, evil certain people.
Well, as they say, evil is where you find it. I’m certain of it.
In this case, evil had a prior commitment. Now, the week before was much more interesting: evil was on vacation in Omaha. Which, come to think of it, is probably not the sort of thing you hear everyday.
I’ve been to Omaha. It is not a “vacation” spot for evil.
Can you say, “Children of the Corn”?
"Evil was on vacation in Omaha.”
I love that.
