Obama’s Plan is Wealth Redistribution

I really don’t like Obama’s answer to this question (watch the video to see what I’m talking about), although I suppose I should applaud him for being honest about his desire to help successful Americans do their patriotic duty by giving the country more money.

I don’t know about y’all, but I neither need to see any more of my wealth redistributed nor am I asking for handouts. I mean, I don’t have so much that higher taxes won’t hurt me, but my success in life isn’t hinging on the Obama-Biden plan of patriotically taxing the hell out of people who are doing better than me, either.

Taxing the wealthy isn’t the best way to help me be successful.

Don’t you rent? If so, McCain’s plan is also wealth redistribution… he’s going to take your money and give it to people who bought a house they couldn’t afford.

I’m not sure why I said “if so.” Whether you rent or not, that’s McCain’s plan. But it would suck more right now to be a renter.

No, we’re owners. We’re just small owners. Well, not small if the question is one of girth.

Anyway, let’s be honest: anyone who taxes is engaging in some level of wealth distribution. If I were to be honest, it’s just that I find Obama’s taxing and spending plans even more offensive than McCain’s.

The part of Obama’s statement that I find offensive is his belief that getting more money from government is “success”.

I find it offensive that they think that the people who already pay nearly half of the country’s taxes should pay more to prove their patriotism.

Are you aware that Obama’s tax break will be refundable? You know the “95% of Americans will receive a tax break” plan? By making this tax break refundable, anyone who doesn’t pay taxes (or who pays less than the amount of the tax break) will get a refund. By “refund” he means “check in the mail.” Yep, those of us who contribute to society and pay taxes will be writing checks to people who don’t.

Yeah, this story doesn’t seem to have a happy ending, does it?

Sure it does! All us greedy exploiters get to relax, stop working, and let the government take care of us. Plus, the people we’ve been exploiting will be better off once they are freed of the shackles of working for us.
