Now Spinning We Fell to Earth’s “The Double”
I know that there are probably hundreds or even tens or perhaps precisely zero people out there wondering what I’m listening to right now. Which is why I felt compelled to share.
I see that you’re wondering, what the heck does this have to do with Mark Lanegan? That’s an excellent question: Wendy Rae Fowler, one of the band members, is his ex-wife.

Well, was wondering yesterday why it is I never hear Lanegan on KTCL. That’s pretty close.
Also, in case anyone was wondering, I put CDs by Three Dog Night and Evanescence on request at the library.
Since I don’t know that many people who like metal (well, to be accurate, apart from you and my daughter, I don’t know any people who’ve admitted to me that they like metal), I thought you’d appreciate this news story.

Well, it’ll probably be better than Pat Boone.
I like some metal. More, depending on how you define it. For example, Zeppelin? Deep Purple? Sabbath? The Hammer of the Gods certainly wouldn’t be made of nerf, ya know.
I like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, and Metallica. Some others too.
However, at the moment, I’m listening to 3 Dog Night: Out in the Country. Good old stuff, that.
