Wow. Wasn’t aware he had a specific need to get that granular in his shout out.
Well, you know, I just figure if Mother America is brandishing her weapons and giving a shout out for help in this battle, then it might be nice to have an Arabic speaker, even if said speaker (is male and) likes the peepee.
That’s all.
While I agree with you in a general sense (as you know), I’d simply say that it doesn’t take anything away from the sentiment or my appreciation of his words that he didn’t feel the necessity to address that particular issue.
Although I’d be curious to get his thoughts on the matter.
While I have slowly come to the conclusion that military’s homosexual policy is no longer useful, the idea that it is in fact gay arabic translators that the military needs is a bit baffling. It seems to be an issue being a bit inflated in importance given the issues currently facing us.
