Holy Damn, House.

Ouch. Didn’t see that coming. Not sure I understand yet.

Yeah, after the screen they showed at the end, I had to look to see that it wasn’t the actor.  Too bad; I actually liked the character better than most of the rest of the cast.

(Was that sufficiently ambiguated?)

Yeah, I think so--hell, if there’s a spoiler on the page, it’s the big freakin’ link I put in there.

I liked the character, too, but I like pretty much all of the characters on the show. Or, in a pinch, I enjoy disliking some of the characters, too.

Take a look at this article at EW.  The destination of the actor is a bit of a surprise—and disappointment, frankly, but there you go.

Not sure I understand yet.

OK, son, your mother asked me to talk with you because you were so upset. See, we live in an apartment, and Dr. Kutner just didn’t have the room here to run and play with other doctors. But it’s okay, because we have some friends who have a hospital out next to a beautiful farm, and that’s where Dr. Kutner went. When Mom said that he was gone, that’s what she meant. He’s happy now, just tearing around in that big new ER and sniffing at all the interns’ rear ends and making new friends. I know it’s hard on you, sport, and that you’ll miss your friend, but it’s for the best. It really is. Maybe for your birthday we can get you a turtle, something that will be happy here with us.

Now let’s brush those teeth and put on your Spiderman jammies, and I’ll read you a bedtime story, champ. K?
