Go Forth and RSVP
Go now and RSVP for RMBB 5K: The Donkeys Over Denver Edition.
The site is nowhere near complete, but it’s usable. Please be sure to use a real email address when leaving your RSVP--we have a little something to send out to everyone who let’s us know that they’re coming. And do RSVP because we need a good count for our hosts.

Odd question for the organizers…
How is the word going to get out to the [scarequote] “visiting dignitaries” [/scarequote] regarding the shindig? Do you have a list or are we just guessing?
Because it’s not just about us. It’s about us buying them drinks.
Some folks are being invited directly. We’re going to try to get a few of the bigger sites to carry links--and we’re hoping that some of y’all will know invite people, too. Frankly, there is only so much that I can do (especially in the month before a trade show that happens only once every four years and attracts a ridiculous amount of business for the company I work for), so I’m hoping that everyone who is coming will also help promote the event.
Hell, I’m hoping some of the folks who won’t be coming will help promote the event. I might see about placing ads on some of the bigger sites if I can come up with a bit of extra money, too, but that’s no sure thing.
I’ve invited a couple folks. And when I say “folks,” I mean, “hookers.”
I understand that all during the convention the Colfax ladies will be offering the Spitzer Special—for an extra hundred, they won’t.
A) I don’t have any ladies.
B) You’re behind the times, Stephen. They’re mostly found on South Federal or MLK these days. (Hey. Once a cabbie, always a cabbie. And cabbies need to know these things. For customer service reasons, of course.)
Left, I emailed all 50 credentialed bloggers. I also hit some of the online calanders, the Westword, 5280, Rocky Mountain News, etc. Now I need you guys to spread the word. My carpal tunnel is killing me.
And I cannot stress this enough--and I’m going to say it a million times before this thing is done--Mr. Lady has done all the heavy lifting. She has done amazing work pulling together people willing to give us food, booze, and space for our party. She has been utterly amazing and she has my gratitude. If it had been left up to me it wouldn’t have been half of the bash that it is going to be.
So, yeah, there will be some nifty graphics up at the end of the weekend for everyone to use if they like.
Don’t listen to him. He’s just hoping to make out with me a little. Which, if he knew me a little better, he would realizes doesn’t take HALF that much work.
The main reason why I support this event is because I have never been disappointed by previous Blogger Bashes. Then there is the ulterior, under-the-table reason: I would like more people to link to my “Bloodthirsty Warmonger” blog.
I, for one, love your Bloodthirsty Warmonger blog.
Thanks for the compliment. Once again I urge the many bloggers who visit this site to continue promoting the “Donkeys over Denver” blogger bash, which JUST MIGHT be more important than the Democratic Convention itself!
I love that I find out that Matt is going to this event by reading about it...SIGH!!! I’m sad I won’t be able to go because although I don’t own a short skirt, I do own some low cut tops and the girls are more impressive than ever because of all of that baby feeding going on.
Beth, you tease. Pump, bottle, babysitter. Get thee to Trios.
