Correcting an Error
A 20-year-old female student at Wellesley College was charged today with breaking into a dormitory at MIT and stabbing her former boyfriend seven times as he slept, according to police and prosecutors.
The truth is something more like this:
A 20-year-old female student at Wellesley College was charged today with breaking into a dormitory at MIT and stabbing her former boyfriend once while he slept and six times while he shouted, “Oh my God, have you been listening to those freakin’ Alanis Morissette CDs again? You can take that jagged little pill and--OW! OW! OW! Don’t stab me, bro!”, according to police and prosecutors.
Goodness. Somebody get that boy a get well card and a shot of something strong.

Wow. I’m really disappointed with the Boston Globe. Do you see anything missing from that article? There is no mention of how the boy is doing! He was stabbed eight times and the article makes no mention of his condition - physically or emotionally. The article is all about the girl who attached him. Maybe it’s just me, but the article seems a little one-sided. Oddly so…
I did notice that. I actually read through it a few times thinking that I had missed something, but, no, apparently they don’t care how he’s doing. Poor kid.
All my joking aside, that would be a terrifying thing to go through regardless of the physical damage.
Girls at Wellesley have boyfriends?
Huh.
Who knew?
