Bad Journalist! Bad bad bad!
This is just a horribly written story.
I have to run off to work--otherwise I would detail the piece’s deficiencies. You guys are bright, though. I trust you’ll come up with the answers on your own.

When I read that, my first thought was, “Who’s the moron who wrote that?” Then I saw the little AP icon, and I understood.
I had the exact same response.
I don’t know if I could list the deficiencies. It’s just...bad. It’s like the writer opened up a can of Bad and spilled it all over the paper. Or like he had his iMac autocorrection set on “SubStandard.”
