American Idol: The Eliminator (Updated)

I can’t believe they’re reminding us of that hidious song, “This is My Now.” It was a really bad now and we would be better leaving it far in the then.

I stick with my guess of either the exit of Amanda or Kristy this week, but I’ve decided that I wouldn’t mind seeing Jason and his hair taking the trip, either. Not that he’s horrible, but I’m just tired of looking at him and he’s not good enough to get me past the nasty dreads. He won’t be going home this week, but I can always dream.

So, AT&T’s new “Unlimited Calling” ad. Does anyone expect one of those guys from the old Budweiser ads to pop up and say, “Wasssaaabi!” Or is that just me?

Thoughts on the results after the jump. Because I don’t want to give anything away this week.

America loves Brooke White this week. Which makes me happy. America hates Carly. Which makes me sad. David Archuletta is loved by screaming throngs of pre-pubescent America. Which makes me irritated. America loves Michael Johns, which doesn’t surprise me much, but really could have gone either way.

America loves it when David Cook covers other people’s arrangements of other people’s material. Which is nice for everyone involved, really. Kristy Lee Cook is not loved by America. Which is entirely understanding but a little sad. She’s been in the bottom group with amazing regularity. America loves Jason. Which isn’t so surprising, either. America loves Ramiele. Probably because she’s tiny and cute; certainly not because she was particularly good last night. Because she wasn’t.

If he’s watching tonight, I’m pretty sure that Kellie has his pickler in an uproar. Which is fun to say. Go ahead: try.

America loves Syesha. Me too. America loves Chikezie. Which doesn’t surprise me. America doesn’t love Amanda. Which also doesn’t surprise me. Amazing that the bottom three was all girl, though.

Kristy survives one more week and Amanda goes home. I think most people saw this coming, although I would have guessed it was Kristy after so many trips to the bottom.

Bye bye, lil’ Harley girl.

Thanks, dude.  I am kind of sad about Amanda, not because I thought she was da gweatest or anything, but I would rather listen to her for all of eternity than have to endure 3 more minutes of either Dreadlock boy or Brooke or that Ramil..whatever her name is.

Ugh.  AI, why can’t I quit you?

(The Andy comment made me pee just a little, BTW)

There are three people I would like to have seen go before she does (not including little elf boy because I knew that was an impossible dream). Kristy, Ramiele, and Jason of the Dreads would have gone before her in my book. But I knew it wasn’t meant to be.

I guess we’re even, by the way, because “AI, why can’t I quite you?” made me snort. Which isn’t peeing, but it’s as close as I get.

I said Brooke, I meant Kristy.  That’s how totally unimpressed I am.  I can’t even remember their names.  Don’t you love how they keep going on and on about how this is the Best. Year. Ever. with the Most. Amazing. Talent. Ever. like if they say it enough, it will be true.  I, personally, don’t like the taste of At&Ford Kool Aid.

But I keep watching anyway.

And I missed the first show, but I really hate Ryan and would love to know why you said he was a jerk.

Oh, he didn’t actually do anything. I’ve just been getting tired of seeing him this year. He’s like that kid back in middle school who thought he was funny. He never realized that pretty much no one else was laughing, so he kept pushing and pushing until someone came up and made him shut up.

Seacrest is just that annoying.
