The Second Ignora-Blogging Award of the Evening (Updated)

The Movie I Wish I Could Watch Tonight (And Has Subsequently Been Moved Up to the Top of My Netflix List) and Which Has Not a Thing to Do With Any Movie Released This Year. Unfortunately.

Walt Stilman's brilliant Barcelona has been sadly forgotten, but, frankly, deserved much better. If I could have picked up his other gem, Metropolitan, this would have been a tie...

Great movies, although I put The Last Days of Disco a tie with Barcelona and Metropolitan slightly ahead of the other two. Really, you can't go wrong with any of them.

Metropolitan was awesome. I remember it had a pretty big impact on my when I first saw it.

The only thing that I'm finding really irritating is that I can't seem to find either Metropolitan or Last Days of Disco as rentals. I might just have to see if I can get copies through Amazon.

...do they have the same quirkiness and dry humor?
