The Thing About Ward Churchill...

Here's the thing about Ward Churchill: the longer he stays in the media glare, the more of an ass he proves to be. His opinions aren't critical, they're hysterical. His speaking isn't inspirational or iconoclastic, it's bland. His artwork isn't his artwork, it's stolen.

I still think he should be fired (tenure does not give a person the absolute right to say whatever he or she wants to say), but I have to admit to enjoying watching the public dismantling of whatever reputation it is that he enjoys. So, the longer he stays in view, the more foolish and small he looks.

He is a liar, a thief, and a big ol' windbag.
