resurrectionsongFebruary 02, 2005In Case You Were WonderingThe cross-country drive--accompanied only by a selection of CDs, some wedding presents, a laptop, a bag of clothes and sundry items, and two books--is about to begin. Before I leave, though, I wanted to introduce everyone to one of my two big endeavors. All of the extra work I've been putting in, all the planning and sleepless nights, seems to be building into something real. Welcome to Broker College. This is version one of the site, and it has a little way to go before I'm completely happy with it, but it's live and taking orders. Have a great few days and don't forget to miss me. That is a cool-looking website. Posted by: Nathan at February 2, 2005 08:53 AMZomby is the master! Posted by: Jo at February 2, 2005 10:06 AMI really like the blues (ummm....run with it), and I am not typically inclined to blue. A very smooth layout; like the white background box with info in the center. The contrast draws my eyes right to that box so I get the immediate information (also noticed the picture of the pretty girl [with nice arms and clavicle, I admit] that Z placed quite logistically); nice on the eyes, succinct information, easy access to links for more info if desired. Well done :D Now, remember, no Van Halen (real Van Halen) while you drive unless you have a radar detector. Also, take turns! A man can be awake in the car and deny his desire to have his hands on the wheel ;p Don't forget your camera (and slip a tissue in your suit, we all know that you can be moved by matters of the heart); wear your seatbelt; and wash your hands (we don't want you coming home with some midwestern flu or otherwise). And if you have time on your trip, going or returning, go up the Arch in St. Louis (it will take 45 minutes max) and look out the eastern windows- you will see what my heart so desperately misses. Oh, and, if you see a Lion's Choice that is open, eat there. You will not regret it. Please give Jerry a firm handshake and my personal message of "all the best." Already missing your Mark Lanegan love... Posted by: Rae at February 2, 2005 10:34 AMZ, Safe travels, Z, and give our best to Jerry and his bride. Posted by: Craig at February 2, 2005 11:26 AMhey, this is off topic. I'm heading to the press club tonight to watch the SOTU. apparently they have WiFi. shooet me an e-mail if your interested. There might be a beer waiting for ya. Posted by: Darren at February 2, 2005 02:29 PMSigh....please adjust that to "western windows." The compass of my heart is so used to pointing east....
