While I'm Type-Type-Typing Away My Life

I'm watching Cool Runnings tonight--the first time I've seen it since it was in the theaters. I now remember why I really enjoyed the film. It's funny, it has a great story, and John Candy was at his reserved best.

Aside from that, it's about bobsledding. Bobsledding is cool. It's easily the coolest of the Winter Olympics sports and the only one I can think of that I ever wanted to learn how to do.

If you were thinking about renting a movie tonight, you could do much worse than to check out Cool Runnings.

Don't underestimate the luge if you're feeling like going it alone. I agree though that if I was looking for a winter Olympic sport to do with friends, then it would definitely be bobsledding. What are you doing over the holiday break? We could form a two-man team or four-man team, right? Geek Runnings.

That's like a $4,000 deductible. Those HMO bastards don't care about the psyche. Now, if the blades slice some toes or fingers, or if we're dismembered, we're covered--$40 co-pay, some stitches and we're back to work.

Well, I've lived with a bruised psyche through most of my life--as long as my mangled body can be handled with a low co-pay, I'm all for it.

I should clarify: hockey is the best game to watch and bobsledding looks like it would be the most fun to do.
