Question

Debra Lafave, teacher and statutory rapist, is pleading insanity in connection with the charges brought against her for having sex with a 14-year-old student.

Wouldn't a plea of narcissistic whore with no sense of decency, no control of her own supposedly grown-up self, and a seriously screwed up moral compass have been more appropriate? Or, put in another way, when someone stupid enough to be unable to distinguish right from wrong or her needs from her wants pleads insanity, that plea is just a desperate attempt to avoid the easily foreseeable consequences of her own idiotic choices.

I am nominating zombyboy for Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.

Zombyboy, putting the 'sanity' back in 'insanity.'

unfortunately, that sounds to sane, thus giving her the chair.

Thank you, cu..come again.

From what I've read, being unable to distinguish right from wrong is a definition of insanity acceptable in most courts.

Which tells me lawyers and judges are insane by their own definition...

Oh, and you KNOW I agree with you, right?
