resurrectionsongNovember 22, 2004Freaky...The artist Christo is going to dress Central Park in saffron-colored robes. Or something like that. He's wrapped other large geographical references in their own lovely fabric before, but was finally granted the right to do the same for Central Park by the art-lovin' Mayor Bloomberg. I don't have a problem with this, especially since the project isn't going to be funded publicly, but I do wonder when people are going to realize that Christo isn't an artist, per se.
