Breather

How long have we, the people, been subjected to the campaigning class? Long enough that it's starting to be a bit of a drag just getting to the end of the cycle.

That's why you'll find music, movies, literature, sports, personal stories, bad jokes, and other stuff here. I, quite honestly, don't have the desire to look at my own site and see only politics. The other bits provide a pretty important relief for me; and if a political junkie like me has grown so weary of the race, I can only imagine what people with a normal tolerance for political conversation must be thinking.

Anyway, there's enough of a difference between the two candidates that I still feel a need to stay involved in the process. This isn't one of those elections where I would feel comfortable sitting it out, as it were.
