Instead of posting pictures and video (or even links to pictures and video) of any of the recent beheadings in Iraq, I would encourage bloggers to take Trench's advice.

I have come to believe that there are much more useful, much more constructive things that we can do than serve up fodder for the people looking for a snuff film or serve as unwitting helpers of the terrorists' PR ambitions. We can turn our energies to helping the families that are left behind and by supporting the soldiers and civilians who are doing their best to rebuild Iraq.
