The Great ZombyArt Contest

To all the contestants of the Great ZombyKu Contest, I hope you'll all join in the Great ZombyArt Contest. I have faith that the combined creative capacity of the readers of this site are somewhere near Michelangelo-ean in scope, this one should provide grist for your artistic mill.

The rules are simple:

1. Using any graphics program you have available to you, draw an entertaining self-portrait (or a portrait of any of the ResurrectionSong writers).
   
2. The lower tech the better--something done using a mouse and Paint would be perfect. Style points are awarded for the most low tech pictures.
   
3. Nothing pornographic, please. This is a PG (sometimes PG-13) blog, not an R or NC-17 blog.
   
4. The writers of ResurrectionSong are, again, ineligible for prizes but encouraged to play.
   
5. Enter as many times as you would like. A picture can be entered in one of three ways: either email your creation to zombyboy -at- resurrectionsong -dot- com and it will be posted here, send via email a link to the picture hosted on your site, or link the entry post from your site this post.
   
6. Commenters with no blog to call their own are urged to play; prizes are not reserved for bloggers.
   
7. Entries should be recieved no later than midnight (Mountain Standard Time), Sunday September 19, 2004. A finalist will be decided on by me (Zombyboy) by midnight (MST), Wednesday September 22, 2004. When finalists are announced, a popular vote will decide on the final winner. The popular vote will run from the morning of Thursday, September 23, 2004 to Wednesday, September 29, 2004.
   

The prize, aside form prominent display of your work of art and a praise of your artistic abilities, has yet to be decided. But since the last contest winner will be taking posession of Tommy Franks' new book American Soldier and a copy of Mark Lanegan's Bubblegum, you should feel pretty good about the potential for something pretty cool...
