resurrectionsongAugust 11, 2004Resurrectionsong: Asking the Tough Questions (Updated)Rae Dawn Chong was a hottie. Canadian, too. Whatever happened to her? Update: And, at ResurrectionSong, we also get the answers (see the comments section here). Thanks, Steve! Posted by zombyboy at August 11, 2004 07:36 PM | TrackBackComments
I saw her, if memory serves, 2 years ago last spring at Brentwood College on Vancouver Island where at least one of her children attends prep school. She was giving out the gold medals to one of the winning crews in the annual Brentwood College Regatta which is one of the premier junior (read high school) rowing competitions, She looked just fine at that time. Posted by: Steve at August 11, 2004 09:37 PMShe was also the co-star of a short-lived TV series called "Mysterious Ways." Posted by: McGehee at August 12, 2004 07:10 AMAt the risk of coarsening this thread - she has a fine pair of bowangas that can be seen on display in this movie: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082484/ ...should one ever be able to find a copy. regards Posted by: JonT at August 12, 2004 07:58 AMYou can get "Quest for Fire" from Netflix. Of course, that should be no surprise. Posted by: Jerry at August 12, 2004 08:29 AMSQUEAK! She was great in that role. Rather annoying, too, which is how the character was written. ;) Posted by: Jo at August 12, 2004 09:41 AMBowangas are good, though demand may play a part in how we value them. Only half of the human race has 'em, and them only two each. Usually. Posted by: McGehee at August 12, 2004 09:54 AM...though demand may play a part... Should read "...though supply and demand demand may play a part..." Posted by: McGehee at August 12, 2004 09:55 AMOfficial Announcement: ...no matter how many times I begged her to... Posted by: nathan at August 12, 2004 10:11 AMRae Dawn Chong is even more fun to say than "bowangas." Posted by: OpinionEngine at August 12, 2004 12:33 PMO.K. Jo, I can see that you are appreciating Rae Dawn Chong for something other than her, umm, (gawd, I can't believe I am even typing this word) "bowangas." What a guy party! Mention ta-tas and they can't resist ;) Gor! Nathan! You made me laugh so hard! Thanks (genuine smile included). Posted by: Rae at August 12, 2004 05:20 PMP.S. Oh, I can see you stayed awhile today, Nathan :) Posted by: Rae at August 12, 2004 05:21 PMNot just "ta-ta's", Rae, bodacious ta-ta's...
You know, Nathan, I think I recall your open confession of yabo-loving in one of your terrific personal posts examining the ways you are typically masculine and ways you are not typically masculine. That was a fun read, btw. Wait, wait, wait! Steve, I just caught it, Vancouver Island, are you being serious? 'Cause that is one beautiful place. We are hoping to vacation up that way next summer and I can hardly wait. Posted by: Rae at August 13, 2004 12:27 AMPost a comment
