The story that I'm going to link to, about a few of Shawn's experiences at the convention, is all the normal, fun Macomber writing that I link to pretty regularly. In and of itself, that would be reason enough to read the article (although, I personally can't imagine having the stamina to sit through that Women Against Bush inanity).

The story at the end, though, adds an extra, interesting kick.
