resurrectionsongJuly 13, 2004Darn JobsIt isn't what you think. This has nothing to do with gainful employment and everything to do with the guy who heads up Pixar and Apple Computers, Steve Jobs. See, Jobs is, in essence, a very successful dictatorial hippy. That doesn't usually bother me as he confines his tendencies to terrorizing Apple employees and business opposition. If all the rumors are true, I sure wouldn't want to work for the guy. But now he's getting all political on me.
Darnit, Steve, stick to the computer visionary thing, please. Although, frankly, the guy who rescued an Apple Computers company that looked ready to be gutted for parts and made it into a viable, dynamic company again has to be a pretty good business advisor to near anyone. On the other hand, the guy who squandered away Apple's early personal computing advantages might no have all the answers... (Hat tip to Bob the Correspondent.) Comments
Umm... did you really expect anything different from The Steve? He might have done a great thing with saving Apple and all, but he's as moonbatty as they come. As much as I disagree with The Steve's politics, I can't really fault Millionaire Everyman for accepting his help as an advisor. Oh, and kinda, sorta tangentally related: You know, it doesn't surprise me, but it always irritates me. I'll be buying that song in a few minutes. I'll let you know what I think. I love the Supersuckers. Posted by: zombyboy at July 14, 2004 09:43 AMYes, the one thing I hate about being a Mac-head is that I know my money is ending up in Moonbat pockets. I just take solace in the fact that I can post conservative rhetoric on a Mac..sort of balancing the scales a little. Posted by: Zygote at July 14, 2004 12:41 PMInteresting. I happened to look up several famous people and who they donated money to yesterday. Steve Jobs didn't seem to have given money to anyone, but his wife gave to a couple of Dems. Buffet and family gave bunches to Democrats, too. Posted by: Matt Moore at July 15, 2004 11:18 PMPost a comment
