What Malkin is saying here would probably get me in lots of trouble (being the lilly white Republican male that I am (adorned with blue eyes (and sort of blondish hair to boot (although OpinionEngine beats me in the "Aryan Looks" department)))), but it's a nice kick in the seat of the pants to those who believe that race defines political leanings.

(I'm exceptionally fond of parenthetical statements today. Even to the point where nesting them wildly seems like fun. This is the fun that my many many thousands of dollars worth of computer, software, RAM, and computing power provides for me. Go figure.)

I'm not sure that you would be surprised by this, but I actually checked to make sure that all your parens were, indeed, closed.

I feel a little better knowing that you probably did the same thing.
