Ahh, Isn't That Sweet?

I hate love songs.

Except "I'm Not in Love."

Which, of course, he was.

The end.

You know, me, too. Except Silly Love Songs by me favorite Brit...Paul McCartney.

While I won't admit to liking that song, I will note that I could sing every single line.

No one would enjoy the experience, but I could do it.

Something tells me that Just Another Love Song by Suicidal Tendencies will not be discussed on that site. Just a hunch...

I've always said you were a smart man.

I just Google®d a song that I figure also won't be discussed here, and was surprised to learn that, though it was recorded by Three Dog Night, it was written by Paul Williams.

Now that I know that fact, though, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. The lyrics seem very Paul-Williams-ish after all.

Never mind. Carry on.

Old Fahioned Love Song? Yep, I could sing that one, too...

You know, Z, I never figured you (from all your music related posts) to be a pop rock kinda guy.

Posted by: Rae at May 28, 2004 12:45 PM

Yeah, well, I have lots of skeletons in the ol' closet.

I think I need to go listen to something fast, hard, and angry to make up for my lapses...

Posted by: zombyboy at May 28, 2004 12:51 PM

Rae, don't let Z fool you. He's a softy on the inside and wants you to THINK he's crusty on the outside. Pfffft.

BTW, as self-appointed Queen of 70's Schlock Music, I have all of the songs mentioned in this comment section, should anyone be interested. Well, except for the Suicidal Tendencies one. . .heh.

(I'm just glad TDN recorded Old Fashioned Love Song and NOT Paul Williams, that lil' freak.)

Posted by: Emma at May 28, 2004 05:26 PM

Actually he's kind of oozy and pustulous on the inside, but I guess that counts as soft.

The outside is less crusty if he's bathed with the last month or so.

<running away real fast>

Oh my goodness, McGehee, your visuals crack me up!

Emma, I think I am gonna call you the Queen Mum from now on (aka as The Dancing Queen).
