resurrectionsongMay 12, 2004Voices from the Religion of PeaceFrom CNN:
I won't say that this is or isn't typical of Muslim thought on the Berg murder, but it seems saft to say that the willingness to support terror isn't just on the fringe. The same people that condemned our abuse of prisoners are more than happy to make excuses for the brutal bastards who killed an innocent civilian or a dictator who used chemical weapons on his own people. We're climbing a mountain, here, and every time we look up it seems that the mountain is only getting taller. What a hell of a week. Posted by zombyboy at May 12, 2004 10:59 AM | TrackBackComments
So much for our efforts to win the hearts and minds of the heartless and the mindless. Posted by: Xrlq at May 12, 2004 11:32 AMI can't help but see the similarities between the Iraqi's and an abused family trying to protect and even sometimes avenge the abuser all the while telling people who are trying to help to "Mind your own damn business." The Muslims of the world who support this are like the extended family who think that it really isn't their "place" to get involved because they are afraid of the retaliation of the abuser (and his friends).
