Unwise and Unethical

It would be unwise and unethical to try to crash this little party, but it would be awfully fun.

This Saturday, we're joining other grassroots groups in the largest day of voter mobilization in American history. MoveOn members will gather at parties across the country to make over 100,000 phone calls in one afternoon to swing state voters. In an election that could be won or lost with a handful of votes, we'll work to turn out every last progressive voter and send George Bush packing.

But to hit our 100,000 call goal, we'll all need to pitch in. Party hosts will provide you with names of folks to call, scripts of what to say, and even group some practice. It'll be fun -- you'll get to meet other local MoveOn members -- and all you need to bring is a cell phone to make your calls on. And since we're calling on the weekend, most cell phone calls will be free.

Can you take an hour or two this Saturday to help with this crucial work? Sign up for a party now at:

Just imagine the fun you could have.

"Hi, this is Zombyboy from MoveOn.org and I just wanted to call and urge you to truly Move On from your irrational hatred of President Bush. Now, more than ever, your country needs you to stop being a looney, left-wing parrot. We'd like to encourage you to throw aside your partisan politics and go ahead and vote for Bush in the upcoming elections."

Of course, that might be the best possible way to incite violence in the non-violent. They do tend to take themselves very seriously, you know.

(And, no, I don't think it would be a good idea to infiltrate. It's just awfully fun to think about...)

I'm afraid I wouldn't look nearly as good in drag as everyone's favorite Cuban blogging cross dresser, though...

Lordy. First it's The Captain and Tennille, now it's "The Love Boat."

What's next? ...

Dang. I just realized all the cheesiest crap from that era has already been remade.
