They Hate Me! They Really, Really Hate Me! (Updated)

Making the right people cranky is something like applause. It just feels good inside.

Jen, a Mark Morford fan, takes me and all the other Mark Morford detractors to task in a lovely missive just brimming with intelligent commentary.

All of your IQ's added up together don't even come close to Mark Morford's. You are so typical of the right-wing illiterate clowns who pepper message boards with non-sensical, irrational, barely literate hate propaganda against anyone who disagrees with them. I almost feel sorry for you...well, almost.

Isn't she cute?

Update: Maybe she was just upset because she knew her boy was being suspended. Thanks to Deb for this "Oh, Happy Day" moment.

Updated update: I was just reading the article that Blair links to and note that it is old. Really really old. My "Oh, Happy Day" moment has just been toned down tremendously. Frankly, I was wondering why I hadn't had a "Morning Fix" email from Morford in quite some time and thought that this might be the reason.

Darn.

Give her credit for one thing: she did leave what appears to be a valid email address.

Most of the drive-by commenters won't even put their name to their comments.

You illiterate clown, you.

I am the illiterati! Here me bore!

Er, no, that's not quite right...

I actually thought about sending her an email, but I also thought that there was no way the conversation would go anywhere interesting or reasonable.

The last comment I got along those lines, I replied with an email saying, "So I can't sign you up for my newsletter, then?"

I never did hear back from him/her on that...

Thats classic Craig. I think I'll use that one next time.

And she is not hateful because . . . !?

Just curious.

Posted by: Shad0runr at April 12, 2004 01:48 PM

She's not hateful because she doen't make personal attacks. You see if the attacks aren't against persons i.e someone who agrees with her, but instead against non-persons i.e. people who disagree with her, then it's all good. Non-persons han't be offended by disparaging comments about their IQ's.

That sort of thinking is what helped keep the WWII concentration camps running all hours of the night and day.

I find it entertaining she said you were nonsensical. She calls you 'illiterate', while talking about something you WROTE, and then in a, I suppose in her view, sensical turn calls you 'barely literate'. In the strictest sense 'barely literate' is still literate. Yet you are the nonsensical ones. HAH!

Sigh.

Ah, but there are so many more that love you, Z.
