resurrectionsongJanuary 15, 2004Both Vim and VigorI haven't participated in Kate's letter of the day in quite a while. I figured today is a good day to start back up. Today's later is V. V is for Virtual imprisonment. Which stands for the condition of most women who live in Islamic nations. Like Vicky, I admire this particular woman's courage and strength. V is for Vietnam. As in, are you serious? No way. I hadn't noticed. V is for Valentine's Day. As in, that is the next date for Val's Blog Cuba. I encourage everyone to take a moment to read what he's planning to do, then I encourage you to take part. Not only was it quite a bit of fun the last time around, but you can't help but learn something new when you write on a subject. V is for Vacation. As in, I'm all sorts of jealous. V is for Victim. As in, even if you happen to agree with drug laws, can you really believe that this is the way to continue the fight? V is for Visually impaired. As in, you'd have to be blind to miss the love and care between these two. V is for Vapid. As in, I think they sent the invitation to the wrong guy. (Thanks to non-V-oriented McGehee, my favorite faux troll, for pointing this one out.) I think that's all the vim and vigor I had left for the day. Now, I have some work to do. Hey, I'm glad you can play again. I missed you! Posted by: Venomous Kate at January 15, 2004 09:24 PMI, too, like it when you play LOTD. It means I might get a trackback. Oh, and <bronx cheer> (Gotta keep my hand in this faux troll game.) Posted by: McGehee at January 16, 2004 06:35 AMI hope the BlogCuba turnout is close to the last one. There was some fine reading there. You gonna BlogCuba again? Posted by: Val Prieto at January 16, 2004 11:25 AMI'm thinking that I will. I enjoyed it quite a bit the first time around. If I do, though, this time will be something more culturally oriented than politically. Posted by: zombyboy at January 16, 2004 11:31 AMPost a comment
