The Difference Between America and France (StumpJumper)

Americans are culturally elitist. We believe that democracy, in all its myriad forms, is a superior form of government. We would like nothing more than to spread democracy all over the world.

The French are culturally elitist. They believe that the French version of democracy, despite the myriad other forms, is a superior form of government. They would like nothing more than to spread French democracy all over the world.

They also believe that any non-democratic form of government is better than any non-French form of democracy.

And how can they spread their version of democracy when they keep surrendering to everyone. Sorry, couldn't resist.

Actually, I think they believe that any form of government other than one supported by the U.S. is preferrable.
