resurrectionsongDecember 30, 2003Resurrecting RKate is back in full bloggin form, and the letter of the day is R. R is for Return of the Hives. Not the long, lost Tolkien manuscript, but something that just might ruin someone's whole damned day. R is for Respect. Something the French government simply doesn't have enough of for its citizens (and, yes, I know that Opinion Engine disagrees with me on this one.) R is for Receiving. Truth be told, I don't mind getting shots or having blood drawn at all. I'm fascinated by the needle and I happen to think that the color of my own blood is quite attractive. I don't mean that in any odd "I wanna be a goth" sort of way; it's just a really gorgeous shade of Red. R is for Really--where are the parents. As in, the cops will get the blame and take the hits, but where are the parents who knew what their kids were up to but didn't do anything to stop them. R is for Resolutions. Hmmm. I'm going to have to think about my own... R is not for Aaaaaahhhhh! Which actually has nothing whatsoever to do with R, but Really needed to be shared anyway. Deal with it. R is for Round and Round. That's the way it goes, Tiger, no matter what you choose to do. And that's about it as I have more XBox to attend to (Hey, what's the official spelling for XBox, anyway? I've seen xBox, XBox, and Xbox. Or, perhaps it really just doesn't matter...). Posted by zombyboy at December 30, 2003 11:46 PM | TrackBackComments
Buy me one and I'll figure it out for you. ;-) Posted by: Sean Hackbarth at December 31, 2003 12:49 AMOh, good. I'm glad I'm not the only one who got replaced by a video game pod person for Christmas. Posted by: Matt Navarre at December 31, 2003 01:37 AMMicrosoft spells it Xbox. Posted by: sama at December 31, 2003 04:39 AMI thought it was ex-box. ;) Posted by: Tiger at December 31, 2003 07:59 AMWhen in France, do as the French do. Enough said! It's a sovereign, albeit secular-focused nation that can make its own laws and rules regardless of what the international community thinks. Besides, the French are only being consistent with the governments they support in the mideast. Remember the ungrateful kingdom that did not allow American soldiers to listen to their own choice of music while on holy soil protecting the fat royal bastards from another portly dictator? Lastly, I support the Frenchies because I just watched Alex & Emma the other night and Sophie Marceau is hot! Posted by: Opinion Engine at December 31, 2003 11:56 AMI'll have more parental non-involvement in that crash situation tomorrow. Thanks for the ping. Always an honor.
