Culled from Drudge

I'm sitting here, waiting for football to start, reading the news, and decided that I probably needed to say "hi."

Hi.

Now, here's my commentary on the stories of Drudge right now.

1. Wonderful. Time has chosen, in quite a shock, the best possible "Person of the Year." We should all join in saying thanks.

2. Good. Soldiers aren't cops, and though I would expect them to hold to a high level of conduct, I don't expect the same things from them that I would from a police officer. If our guy didn't pop Saddam after the tyrant had spat on him, I would've been disappointed.

3. Okay. Moving on.

4. Bad time for a blackout.

5. Is public vulgarity becoming a common strategy for Democratic Presidential hopefuls? That doesn't impress me at all.

6. This is very honestly disturbing. I want to know more, and, yes, I want heads to roll if it turns out to all be true.

7. Damn, that's a lot of money. My greatest hope is that Return of the King knocks Titanic right out of that top spot. A fine gold star, that.

8. So what? I could care less that Al Gore's son was arrested for pot possession. This fascination with politician's children is irritating. This wouldn't be the first time that a young man was caught with pot; most of them are lucky enough to not see that become front page news, though.

Okay, that's enough Drudge.

Shopping, packing, and shipping are almost done. Football is coming on. I'm not facing the mall crowds today.

Yep, I'm feeling a return of the holiday spirit.

I have pretty much an identical reaction to all of those articles. None rose to the level of being worthy of posting by themselves, but you found an apt way to make it worthwhile by providing a Drudge roundup.

Nice.

Yep, I'm definitely creating an "abuse of power" category on my blog (just did that, in fact). When a judge comes out with a statement like that ... as you said, heads should roll.
