Babes For Bush

Dana said the following in the "Ouch. That Hurts." entry below where I facetiously suggested starting a Babes for Bush site to combat that other incredibly idiotic site.

Babes for Bush.... hey, you start it, I'll join it.

I wouldn't mind doing that, but I'd want to have some volunteers set up to be the "Babes" so that I know the scope of the project. If we decided to do it, I can have a site set up probably by the end of next week that would feature, you know, Babes who plan to vote for Bush and who support his policies.

A couple thoughts, though, first:

I would want to do something tasteful. Nekkid, porn looking stuff may get hits, but it fails to make a strong point. If someone wants to do it the other way, that's fine, but I don't really want to be part of it.
Why limit it to women? Men can be babes, too. VodkaPundit, are you listening?
I'd want to go with a tagline that moved away from the gradeschool insults on the offending site. Something like "Because Intelligence is Beautiful." That's a little clunky, so bring on some suggestions.
I'd want to do something that proved the point--instead of 99 Shallow Bumpersticker Sayings that Supposedly Prove That Bush is Bad, I'd like to have some thought and reasoning on the site that explains why the babes support Bush. Nothing too onerous, but proving the point that I'd be trying to make in number 2.
I'd like some input on the best way to do this: tell me what would make it worth dropping by and viewing, tell me what would keep people away, and tell me if it's just a stupid idea.

I think it would be fun, but I'd like to make it something meaningful as well as funny. I'd like it to have the depth that the other site lacks--something to give the subject a little weight, you know?

If it sounds like a good idea, start chiming in with the concepts and I'll start putting it together. If it doesn't, then, well, tell me so.

Zombyboy - 1. Agreed. And if you want to go for "tastefully sexy" that can be done without showing even a hint of cleavage. Confidence is what makes a woman (or a man) sexy.

3. You mean you don't like "Wrapping Ourselves in the Flag... and NOTHING ELSE"?? ;) Seriously, I'm not very good at thinking of tagline, but I like your general principle.
4. What about a questionnaire that each "babe" fills out? "Which of President Bush's policies do you think are most innovative/gutsy? Which concern you most? Why will you be voting for Bush in 2004?" etc. If you wanted to make it funny, you could ask some silly questions in there, too.
5. I'll try to spread the word to get you some more feedback, and hopefully some more volunteers.

I'm less than certain that I qualify under the "babe" category, but one concept (of the deeper-than-a-bumper-sticker variety) came right to mind as I was reading this post.

Babes vote for Bush because he has liberated more women in the last four years than NOW has in the last fourteen.

I am def interested in not only joining "Babes for Bush, but I''m a teamleader for his campaign as well so I have plenty of intelligent resources. I also dibble in web page design. Let me know.
