Yes, Kids Do Lose Again...

I had missed this story about a judge overturning the Colorado state school voucher program. I'll have to read a little more to find out exactly why the decision was made, but it breaks my heart.

The vouchers were only going to "at risk" kids in the worst school--it wasn't blanket coverage like I would wish to see, but a targeted program to give kids a chance at a better education. Somebody explain to me how it is that the NEA and teachers' unions can even claim to have kids' best interests at heart.

If that were true, then they'd be first in line applauding these poorest members of our society having a shot at something better than the poor education they'll end up receiving.

How amazingly disappointing.

Don't you understand Zombyboy? The teachers and their unions know what's best. If you're wondering why then they have not improved the education of our children it's because they need more money. Come on, man. That's like basic education theory. Money=results. Where have you been?
