AvP Movie (StumpJumper)

Oh, hell yeah! This one, arguably, beats the pants off of a Wolverine movie, especially if you are a nerd who has followed the mythos through comics and/or video games over the past decade. And it will be coming to us in 2004!

Dude. I dunno if you remember the side-scrolling beat-em-up arcade game Alines vs. Predator released by Capcom Japan, but that game was awesome.

As cool as I think this is, I have to admit that I'm far more excited by Wolverine. AvP could be a hell of an experience, though.

Z: My only reservation with a Wolverine movie is that the X-Men movies have been PG and the real Wolverine is R. As much as I like Hugh Jackman's portrayal, I doubt that a Wolverine movie will present Wolverine as we (you and I) know him to be.

Stumpy: if you get a hold of the MAME32 arcade software for windows you might be able to find the ROM lying around somewhere online. It's a good beat-em-upper.

If the script works with the backstory that Dark Horse built, and Steve Perry fleshed out so well in the novels... damn.

But it's not quite clear to me that they're going to do that.

This movie has been in the making for a long time. I look forward to it's release. I'm very excited about it. I just hope they don't scerw it up like they did Alien Ressurection!(which almost ruined the whole aliens series)
