Take That, Oliver Stone...

The Beeb doesn't often get things right, but this paragraph sounds about perfect to me:

The most popular opposition to the official account is the Single Bullet Theory. As shown in Oliver Stone’s 1991 film JFK, this theory uses film evidence and post mortem analysis to show that the bullets that hit JFK’s body didn’t all come from the same direction, discrediting the official account that the assassination was the work of a lone gunman. The BBC documentary’s most surprising conclusion is that Lee Harvey Oswald did indeed act alone.

A former friend of Lee Harvey Oswald is going to be a guest of radio host Peter Boyles on 630 KHOW tomorrow morning. Tune in on your way to work. I'm sure he won't solve the conspiracy question, but it should damn good talk radio.

Another big deal with the JFK conspiracy is Jack Ruby's "mob ties" because he ran a couple of strip clubs in Dallas.

An A&E biography last night pretty much did to that theory what Ruby did to Oswald, IMHO. The FBI's wiretaps recorded the mob bosses after Oswald was killed, asking each other (in effect), "Who is this Jack Ruby mook? I never heard of him. You?"
