Rocky Mountain Blogger Bash v2.75 (Updated (Again))

In just hours, it will be time to embark on that beautiful moment that is Blogger Bash. I'm all giddy.

RMBB275.jpg

The Time: 6:30pm
The Date: Friday, December 5, 2003
The Place: Wynkoop Brewery. Of course.

It is that time of the year, when a young blogger's heart turns towards booze. And the companionship of other drunken bloggers, of course.

Spread the word, steal the graphic, and link to this post. There will be further information as our plans solidify.

The crew will assemble upstairs at Wynkoop in the back of the bar by the pool tables. If you have a hard time finding us, just look for the RMBB 2.75 signs that we'll be putting up on the wall. Otherwise, follow the sound of the loudly laughing Zombyboy.

And I don't want to hear any excuses, damnit...

Update: If you would like to just copy and paste, without the pain of downloading and putting the graphic on your own server, use this code:

Im in Miami, can anyone give me a ride?

Posted by: Val Prieto at November 13, 2003 06:09 AM

Hmmm, I'm betting the charming IE error where it tries to save the image as a monstrous, untitled bitmap file. I've got the encryption setting set correctly in options too. Piece of crap IE.

Could you just mail me the image? Thanks!

And thanks for doing the planning this time around!

Gimme a few minutes, and I'll post the code that you can copy and paste so that it draws from my server. K?

Posted by: zombyboy at November 13, 2003 09:57 AM

Two words: Mozilla Thunderbird

Posted by: StumpJumper at November 13, 2003 10:33 AM

Okay, I'm looking at it in Firebird (isn't that just Thunderbird without the extras?) and it looks fine. What am I missing?

Posted by: zombyboy at November 13, 2003 11:00 AM

Oh, wait, Thunderbird is the mail and news app...oops.

Posted by: zombyboy at November 13, 2003 11:02 AM

I need a ride, too...

Damn me for living in Cali.

Posted by: Deb at November 13, 2003 11:06 AM

Sorry, I meant "Mozilla Firebird."

Tabbed browsing, pop-up blocking, skins, plug-ins, etc. It kicks the crap out of IE, it's multi-platform, and it's free.

Posted by: StumpJumper at November 13, 2003 11:06 AM

Rides are on me. Anyone who can make to my house. I'll make sure you get the last mile-and-a-half or so to the Wynkoop.

Posted by: Walter at November 13, 2003 08:32 PM

I played designated driver to a few last time...will do again. :)

Posted by: Full Grown at November 14, 2003 01:53 PM

Hell. I'm in Georgia, and I'd be there if it wasn't my wedding aniversary. And I could pick up Val on the way! Damn, damn, damn!

Posted by: kelley at November 14, 2003 06:43 PM

I'm bummed! I had fun at the last RMBB --it was great to meet so many Colorado bloggers --but I will be in Key West speaking at the annual NORML legal conference during this one. I hope one of you will make a toast to the absentees--

Great graphic, btw.

What time does this thing start?

/me just has to figure how to contact Walter, to take him up on his ride offer.

Posted by: jed at December 2, 2003 11:01 AM

If anyone can pick me up in Los Angeles, I'll drive their car the rest of the way...

Posted by: Moxie at December 2, 2003 07:49 PM

Hmmm, it would almost be worth it...

Posted by: zombyboy at December 2, 2003 09:06 PM

Dang it. I was working that night. Looks like I'll have to keep a closer eye on your blog to make sure I don't miss the next one!
