"Hell Froze Over"

Steve Jobs announced the new Apple Music Store for Windows with the announcement that hell had, indeed, frozen over. Apple was now in the business of making cross-over applications for Windows and Mac OS.

The new Music Store isn't just a Web site--it's the newest version of iTunes, Apple's MP3 jukebox and CD burning software, that includes the music store as an integral component.

This is a much more full-featured, ambitous launch than I expected. The next question, since I already know how the music store works, is whether the burning software included will work with the multitiude of potential PC configurations.
