Damned, Evil Dog-Strangling Vines

It would appear that the Dog-Strangling Vine doesn't actually strangle dogs, which is a good thing. It is, though, exceptionally hard to kill, is "invading Ontario," and just really invited a great entry title.

Biologists in Ontario predict a new woodland weed could cause more strife to wildlife than purple loosestrife.

A two-metre-high plant called dog-strangling vine is nearly invincible. Otherwise known as pale swallowwort, it has the ability to choke off woodlands and marshes.
