Dean Week, Pt. 2.1

Wizbang Blog is predicting Dean's political suicide over the Israel-Palestine issue. I think he has an excellent point: if this election continues to be about foreign policy issues (and it isn't showing any signs of getting too far away from those issues), then Dean is at an extreme disadvantage to other Democrats.

If General Clark joins the race along with Hillary and/or Gore, Dean's credibility on foreign affairs will fall even further behind the others'.

I've seen Clark on Bill Maher, Hardball and a bunch of other show this week talking election. He's going to be in, there's no doubt.

I haven't seen any of his interviews, but reading the snippets here and there--I would agree with you. He's running--and as soon as he jumps in he'll have to be damned near the front-runner.
