Sticking Up for Morford

Okay, so Mark Morford is an ass. Hate him, I really do. He's an intolerant, arrogant, puffed-up jerk. In a weird way, he's kind of the uber-blogger.

Let's not explore that last bit too much...

Anyway, I was reading that email that connects me to his opinion of stuff that's happening around the news world. Great entertainment, if wildly annoying at times. Well, he also happens to publish some of the correspondence he happens to get throughout the last few days. Today was hate mail day.

This one is just wrong.

It isn't funny. It isn't right. Morford doesn't deserve that, not by a long-shot.

Gary Bryson has just proven himself a bigger jerk than Morford could ever be--and confirmed everything that Morford thinks about things on my side of the political fence.

Mark, I might hope that you stub your toe some morning, I might hope that you are some day forced to shop at Wal-Mart, but what Bryson said is loathsome.

That's bullshit. One can take Monford to task for his opinions, but this freak is devoid of humanity. And, personally, I'd hate it if the whole world thought like me. Then I'd end up hating myself, because I'm an iconoclast at heart.

Amen, Velociman. If everyone agreed with me, who the hell would I argue with? I'd start disagreeing with myself out of general principle...
