UN Moves to Shore Up Credibility Issues

In a move designed to avoid controversy and shore up credibility issues, the UN has banned the media group Reporters Without Borders for having the temerity to criticize the UN's appointing Libya as Chair of the UN Human Rights Commission. This should go a long way in fostering trust and a sense of openness in the UN.

A spokesman for RSF [Reporters Without Borders] called the decision dictatorial and added that it increased concern that the Human Rights Commission was being hijacked by countries with poor human rights records.

Well, that can't be true, can it? I mean, this is the UN we're talking about here...

Read the story in the annoying, biased, and often untrustworthy BBC. (See, I can be slanted in my writing, too.)
