WMD the Instapundit Way

I've mostly ignored the WMD and "Bush Lied" carping from the left--mostly because they aren't factually motivated, they're politically motivated with the goal not of finding fault but of softening up the GOP for upcoming elections. I also have a tendency to think that within three or four months, we'll have a lot more answers in to the WMD debate than we do right now; that will be the time to broach the subject. Right now, critics and defenders alike are working from guesswork and ignorance.

That said, it continues to be big news. Instapundit has a nice round-up of posts and articles today that even include Ed Koch saying that he plans to vote for President Bush in the next presidential election. It's well worth your time.

I agree. It's hard to defend against an allegation that's entirely fabricated. I guess that's why I haven't seen much talk of it in the blogosphere.
